You could parachute me anywhere and I’d find you a good story… I’ve worked out of major sporting events, warzones, award ceremonies and even a flea market.
As a news reporter for the UK’s national news agency I wrote about everything from the Brexit referendum to the glitz and glamour of the red carpet. As a freelancer I have covered both a revolution and war in Armenia, as well as slower, more human stories.
But after a life-changing experience, (read more about that here), I have more recently been leading on PR for the home of the hospice movement during a time of unprecedented attention on how we die in the UK.
Alongside that, I’ve done some teaching and tutoring, completed a Masters, provided freelance PR services for filmmakers, and been writing a play….
If you’re not doing something which scares you, you’re not growing.
